This lovely gravy boat with non-attached underplate is in the American Ivy pattern, produced by Pope Gosser China in the 1940s. The underplate doubles as a celery dish and is 8-5/8" long by 5-1/8" wide. The gravy is 8 inches long by 3-1/4" high at the lip. It's one of three versions produced in the American Ivy pattern - another has a sleeker modernistic shape while the third type of gravy has an attached underplate. Both pieces are in excellent condition with very slight crazing to the gravy boat, no damage.
