A fancy 1950s cardboard Christmas putz village house or building decorated in an unusual manner. The front of the red and white gabled roof building is open to show a diorama scene of a thin celluloid reindeer in front of a double glass mirror framed in tiny gold mercury glass beads.
Above the mirrors is a blue foil star, and in front off to one side is a chenille bottle brush tree arrangement with a little mercury glass candle and wired mercury glass bead ornaments. The floor and roof are dusted with silver glitter. Strings of mercury glass beads border the outside of the building, fence-like.
The building measures 4-3/4" wide by about 3 inches high. There is darkening to some of the beads from deterioration of the inner mercury silvering. The left side eave of the roof is creased where it meets the side wall. The mirrors have some spotting but are intact.
