I have two of these retro Eames era 2-quart buffet casserole servers designed by Georges Briard. Each consists of a gold-tone aluminum outer bowl, a Fire King gold trim 2-quart insert bowl, and a goldtone lid with real wood and brass insert decoration. About 3-1/2" deep to the rim by 8-3/4" diameter not including the lid or handles - the glass insert is 3 inches deep.
The glass bowl is in excellent condition with no damage, scratches, or cloudiness, just the tiniest bit of wear to the gold trim. The outer spun aluminum dish has no dents or dings but there is some wear to the gold colored finish. It doesn't show up well in the photos due to lighting conditions, and in fact is not very obvious unless you examine the dish closely - it will display on your table just fine. The brass lid finials would benefit from a quick polish, they have some light tarnish. Price is per casserole.
