These charming 1950s Napco ceramic spaghetti Santa Claus Christmas salt and pepper shakers are adorably posed - one sitting with his arms open wide, the other bowing in a curtsy. They come in their original silver foiled gift box which has a retail store label from Cook Gere China, Glass, Gifts of Racine Wisconsin. Silver foil labels on the bottoms of each Santa read "A Napco Ceramic Japan" and the same Napco label is on the underside of the box with the stock number 3442.
The Santas are 2-3/4 and 3 inches high. There are no chips, flakes, or crazing, one Santa has tiny bit of paint loss to the back of his hat. Both are missing their stoppers. Of course, you don't have to limit their use to table shakers, they make wonderful figurines for your mantle or Christmas displays as the shaker holes are well concealed. The box is intact but a little shabby from age and storage.
