A boxed set of lighted plastic Christmas bells by Paramount Raylite from the mid to late 1940s. It's a 3-bell cluster with a double layer silver and red foil flower with pinecone center at the top. Rather than the typical hard molded plastic in later 1950s and 1960s sets, the bells are made of thin, flexible plastic, like Vacuform or celluloid. The bells measure 5 inches across the bottoms and are 3-1/2 inches high.
The foil flower has some creases but the bells show no sign of wear at all - they're perfect. The cord, plug, and sockets are in good shape as well and the set lights up fine. The box is intact with some wear to the lid as shown. These sets were sold with a variety of different decorations at the top of the cluster, most did not match the illustration on the box lid.
