A dramatic vintage beaded and sequined Christmas ornament in deep jewel tone colors of purple, blue, and green. The ornament starts with a round, slightly flattened 3-1/2" diameter satin-covered base, wrapped in thin gold foil for sparkle. At the center on each side is a pointed, faceted light green round stone with Aurora Borealis effect coloring within the glass (I'm sure there's a term for that type of stone but I'm not a bead person). Eight flat back faceted round rhinestones in peacock blue surround the green stone in a flower petal pattern. The rest of the ornament is then covered by closely placed bright metallic purple sequins topped by tiny lavender faux seed pearls and iridescent lavender oat beads.
The sides of the ornament have blue rhinestones among the beaded sequins, three on one side, two on another (one stone is missing). Spike finials are formed by fancy purple and lavender beads as shown, including purple pavé rhinestone and metal filigree beads. A gold cord hanger is attached to the top. Overall height not including the hanger is 6-3/4". Everything is complete and in excellent condition except for the one missing blue stone on the side.
