This unusual 1960s Inarco ceramic Santa Claus face was part of a Christmas floral arrangement - similar to a head vase. Once the greenery or flowers were gone, the Santa doubled as a candle lantern. It's a little over 5 inches high, not including the brass carry handle. Santa has cat's eye marbles for his nose and at the tip of his cap that glow when a lit candle is inside. Holes around the face and at the top are for the greenery. The back is open to hold a candle.
There is red wax inside from the original candle. The vase has a soot smudge at the top opening and there are several paint scratches around the sides, top, and back as shown. There are no chips or cracks. The original box which held a votive candle and the Santa vase is present. It has age wear and writing on the top.
