This 1940s Shiny Brite glass Christmas ornament has an unsilvered neon pink shaded finish. Most unsilvered American ornaments were made during the 1940s World War II years but I've never been able to confirm whether they are in fact war ornaments or were made shortly afterward while silver nitrate was still hard for non-military manufacturers to obtain.
The 2 inch high ornament has an airbrushed pink center band with lighter pink shading above and below. The white stenciled decoration is a bell and holly with ribbon banner reading Christmas Greetings. There are some scratches to the finish on one side.
