This pretty 1960s Japan Christmas angel can stand by herself or be used as a tree top decoration. She's 6-1/2 inches high and was made to resemble the popular Koestel angels. Instead of wax face and hands however, the angel's head and hands are molded doll-type plastic. She plays a gold plastic lute or violin and wears a turquoise blue brocade gown with metallic gold lace trim and halo. Her wings are embossed Dresden foiled gold paper. The original Made in Japan label is missing from the inside of the cardboard cone, otherwise excellent condition.
