This vintage quilt was made with faded cotton plaid shirting fabrics in primarily reds and blues. It's a 44 inch square wall quilt with three fabric hanging tabs on one back edge, or it can be used as a lap quilt. The backing is a muslin colored shirting, similar in weight to the plaids but slightly more loosely woven. The batting is thin and non-shifting, probably cotton.
The quilt was machine pieced, the quilting was done by hand. It's not antique but not recently made, either. There are no stains, holes, or tears but some age is apparent - it has been laundered more than a few times. Please note that the white spots at the upper right corner in the first picture are some type of strange lighting artifact which are not present in the actual quilt. All four corners are intact with no issues.
Due to use of both fixed price and weight based shipping, the calculator will often be way too high on multi item purchases. Don't be alarmed if shipping seems crazy high, just wait to pay until I can adjust your shipping to actual.
