These double sided, hollow tin litho dimensional metal Christmas ornaments were made in America in the 1930s. This type of ornament isn't listed in any of my Christmas books and I don't know who made them but I do know they're very hard to find. In all my years of collecting and selling antique Christmas, I've never come across more than a handful. Apparently the only colors the ornaments came in were red/white/green and red/white/blue.

The 3-1/4" bell and 3-1/2 inch diameter bell and patriotic star ornaments are the same on both sides. One of the neat things about these ornaments is that they have round loop grommet hangers at the tops and bottoms, so you can make double ornaments or chains with them. There is spotty age wear to the graphics and one side of the bell has a shallow center depression (not enough to consider it a dent - see last photo). There is no rust.
