Six American made glass Christmas ornaments with hand painted comma stroke flower and leaf decoration, made in the very early 1940s before the World War II era transition to unsilvered ornaments. The metal caps are marked Made in U.S. of A. - the word "of" was dropped before the end of the war.
Three are round, 2 to 2-3/8" diameter. Two are 2-1/2 inch spinning top or lantern shapes, and one is a bell. There is some mild finish or paint wear, clearly shown in the pictures, but not as much as I'd expect of 80 year old ornaments.
