This gorgeous electric glass parlor style lamp is decorated with wonderful transfer scenes of hunting dogs. Four different dog scenes are spaced around the center of the milk glass base, framed in fancy scrolled and feathered cartouches molded into the glass. The airbrush painted colors are green and pink with brown transfers.
The four-footed openwork base is brass plated cast iron, decorated with flowers and fleurs-de-lis. The gallery and font top is shiny brass. The flame regulator knob is marked Rochester Abco. The interior measurement of the brass fitter ring is 4-1/8 inches diameter. The 6-1/2 foot brown cord is in good condition with no splits or damage and has a slider type on/off switch. There's a little wear to the brass plating of the iron base, otherwise this beautiful and unusual lamp is in excellent vintage condition with no damage. Measurements: 15-1/2 inches high to tops of hurricane shade prongs, about 8 inches diameter (widest part of glass base), base 6" square. Age unknown, but no more recent than 1950s.
