A pair of rare 10 inch high glaze pottery dinner plates in the Distlefink pattern by California Cleminsons, circa 1950. Distlefink was a line of tableware and kitchenware with simple stylized slightly raised Pennsylvania Dutch decoration, sold in both white and brown. Many of the serving pieces were bird shaped. A similar snack plate with cup ring was made - these plates don't have the ring. The glaze is still intact with no utensil marks. One plate has a narrow sliver nick to the glaze on the rim. The other is perfect. Price is for the pair.
