This 1930s wired beaded glass Christmas ornament was made in Czechoslovakia. At the center is a cobalt blue mercury glass ball ornament. Three rows of faceted silver mercury glass beads form a dimensional diamond shape cage around the cobalt ball, with a cross of glass tube beads at the centers of each side surrounding a silver and blue beaded flower shape. Little beaded tassels dangle below the center, with a single tiny red glass bead at the top and above the tassel. The ornament is almost 5 inches long. One has a missing bead at one flower center One row of connected faceted beads is missing (second photo, upper right side). The inner mercury silvering of the faceted beads has degraded with age.
