These patriotically colored four double indent Christmas ornaments are among the earliest American glass ornaments, made by Premier Glass Works between 1938 and 1941. They are not easy to find today. The larger round red ornament is about 2-1/2 inches diameter and has an embossed 5-point star in the recessed center surrounded by ribbed rays.
The three smaller ornaments are about 1-3/4" diameter and all have indents on both sides. The once-silver but now white ornament has five-point stars embossed in the centers. One of the teal blue ornaments has concentric bullseye type rings, the other has flower centers. These have the original, earliest Premier tin caps marked Premier Made In U.S.A. The larger ornament's metal cap is marked Made In U.S. of A. There is some cloudiness to the inner silvering of the white and red ornaments. No chips or breaks.
