A gorgeous solid copper low bowl with acid etched oak leaves and acorn design . The bowl is subtly hand hammered, measuring 9 inches diameter by 1-7/8" high. The top of the raised etched oak leaves begins at the center of the well and extends upward to the rim. The bottom is signed "Penland Handicrafts, Penland N.C.". The Penland School of Handicrafts was founded in 1923 and still exists. This bowl was probably sold in their gift shop or gallery. Original patina and finish, in excellent condition.
