5 Shiny Brite Unsilvered Opaque Glass Christmas Ornaments WWII5 Shiny Brite Unsilvered Opaque Glass Christmas Ornaments WWII

Undecorated round Shiny Brite glass Christmas ornaments are pretty abundant, but these five are unsilvered, painted in opaque bright red, Pepto pink, and ivory. They were made during World War II or shortly afterward, when silver nitrate was still in short supply due to military needs. The ornaments are 2 inches diameter. All five have scratches to the painted finish, the ivory colored ornament has the most wear.
