This blown glass slender teardrop shape Christmas ornament is from the late Victorian to 1910 era, probably made in Germany. It's a little over 5-1/2 inches long, unsilvered with red and gold horizontal gel paint stripes or rings. Inside is a sprig of fine wired gold feather tinsel. The top is fastened with blue glass double pike bead. The delicate glass is almost paper thin. Some expected light fading and wear to the painted colors, very minor considering the ornament's age and fragility.
