A boxed set of 12 American made silvered glass Christmas ornaments from the late 1930s and early 1940s in bright mostly primary colors. Most were made by Shiny Brite, two or three are from Premier Glass Works.
The shapes include ringed balls, Deco lanterns, grape clusters, spiral twist, a barrel or accordion shape, and a double star indent. The red 4-panel lantern is the largest at 3 inches high. The others are 2 to 2-1/2 inches high. There are no chips or breaks. The solid red and hot pink ornaments have some wear to the finish, particularly at the back of the large lantern. The early, pre-war era Shiny Brite box is intact and in good condition with the exception of two taped splits to corners of the lid.
