This retro Early American style polished copper plated light fixture from the 1960s. This type of fixture was generally hung in the kitchen or over the dining room table and went well with Colonial style and Western decor. Overall height is about 20 inches from the copper ceiling cap to the bottom ring finial (you can add or reduce the chain links to adjust the height to your taste).
The 14" diameter lamp has a pinch-pleated rim, reticulated gallery trim, and a frosted glass saucer disc shade covering the triple sockets. An on/off switch is located below the top of the decorative finial ring but of course that can be controlled from a light switch when mounted. The switch is missing the screw-on knob, easily replaced (it's the same size as the on/off knobs on almost any Mid Century table or floor lamp).
The light fixture is shiny, clean, and in excellent condition. There are a couple teeny, tiny marks to the copper finish which I found only upon close examination. According to information found on the Underwriters Laboratories label, it was manufactured by Thomas Lighting in Hopkinsville Kentucky.
