A box of six 1950s and 1960s extra large silvered glass Christmas ornaments, made in Poland and West Germany. The three Polish ornaments are round and teardrop shape, decorated with beach ball style vertical color bands and mica glitter starbursts. They're 4 to 5 inches high.
The red triple indent ornament is the smallest at 3-1/2 inches. It has gold tinted indents on three sides and is decorated with white mica stripes and black/gold mica glitter frost at the top. The metal cap is marked Shiny Brite Germany. The fat red with white stripes and yellow flower petals at the top and bottom ornament is from West Germany. It's about 4-3/4" high by nearly 4 inches diameter.
The last ornament is a large figural Santa Claus from West Germany, 5-1/4" high. Santa has a flesh painted face and holds one red-gloved finger to his nose. The sleeve and hat cuffs are decorated with white mica glitter. There is glitter loss and some finish wear, and one of the Poland ornaments has a minor pike chip visible below the metal cap which does not interfere with hanging. The box has taped corners and no lid but is sturdy and fine for storage.
