This 1950s brass table lamp has a base made from a nautical type lamp, or was made to look like it was made that way. The mesh panel in the lantern body opens up reveal a candelabra base light socket. The lamp is about 29 inches to the top of the harp. The base is 6-1/2 inches diameter.
The lamp works fine (both sockets), but the brass finish needs a little restoration. There's some light oxidation near the shoulder and it definitely needs cleaning or polishing. The metal piece that holds the shade harp is slightly out of shape. However, found inside the lantern section was another identical harp holder piece, so you can easily switch it out. There were also alternate finial parts, in case you don't like the toy horse finial (the horse can be removed if desired). I am not going to include the shade as it's in poor condition with tears inside and considerable soiling - I don't think it's worth the additional cost of shipping. Price reflects condition.
