A boxed set of 12 scarce unsilvered Shiny Brite glass Christmas ornaments in pink, blue, and white with screened or stenciled decoration. The 2-1/4" diameter ornaments were either made during the World War II years, or shortly after the war ended when silvering agents were still difficult to obtain by non-military manufacturers.
Half of the ornaments have transparent flashed-on bright pink tops with blue stripes, the other six have blue tops and pink stripes. All have white snowflakes, bells, and ornaments around the centers. The ornaments are in very good condition with no damage and only very slight wear to the color finish. The Shiny Brite box bottom is intact but the lid has discoloration and wear including a torn cellophane window. I don't know if the box is original.
