This pretty ceramic table lamp is from the 1940s to 1950s. The body is a graceful double handled urn or vase shape mounted on a brushed brass base, decorated with a large dark pink painted rose in full bloom with green leaves. The rose decoration is signed by the artist but I can't make out the signature.
The lamp measures 28-1/4 inches high to the top of the brass finial, about 15 inches to the base of the socket. It has an 8 foot long white cord with the old fashioned, non-polarized type of hard rubber plug. It works fine as shown in the last photo and is in excellent vintage condition with no damage or issues. The silk shade is another story - the condition is a little rough with several tears to the fabric. The frame is great though and can be recovered with new fabric. Shade measurements are 11 inches high, 16" diameter at the bottom, 8-1/2" diameter at the top. Let me know when ordering if you don't want the shade as it may save some on the shipping cost.
