A lovely, old fashioned angel scrap Christmas tree top made by National Tinsel in the late 1950s to early 1960s. It's about 8 inches diameter, with a paper scrap angel face amid clouds of curly angel hair and a scalloped halo of spun glass fibers. She has gold foil scrap wings and is surrounded by three gold foil stars.
The curly angel hair cloud is lush and full without any snarling or pulls, and the spun glass fibers are in good shape with only minor thinning or fiber loss. The angel, wings, and stars are in excellent condition aside from a few minor bends or creases to the star and wing tips. The flimsy box has quite a bit of storage wear and is only in fair condition.
