This 1920s three tier curio shelf is designed to fit into the corner of two walls. The legs allow you to stand it on a surface, or it can hang. It's 24-1/4 inches tall by 11-1/2" wide across the lower front. I don't know my woods very well but it appears to be made of maple with a dark brown stain. There are three tight splits to the wood, one repaired, at the right side. They don't compromise the appearance, function, or strength of the shelf at all (see last photo). Otherwise the shelf is in very good, clean condition.
