A beautiful blown glass peacock clip ornament with turquoise blue head and neck, silver body, red and yellow wings, delicate triple pontil crown topknot, and spun glass fibers tail. The coiled spring leg allows the bird to flutter and move on the tree branch when given a light touch. The tin clip isn't marked but the ornament was made in 1950s West Germany. About 5-1/2 inches long including the tail. The pike opening at the back has a thin sliver chip which is very common. The tail will slide into the bird's body for storage but you can secure it with a dab of glue if you want to keep it stationary.
