This Santa's Fun Book pop out style children's Christmas story and activity book was published in 1954 by White Plains Greeting Card Corp. It's spiral ring bound with 28 pages and comes in its original box. Almost every page opens up to a dimensional pop-up die cut illustration or other interactive feature. There's a honeycomb tissue paper accordion that opens up when you turn the page, a movable dancing ballerina doll with real feathered bonnet, and 3-dimensional "space goggles" for the child to use when viewing a 2-page 3D Christmas wonderland illustration, plus much more.
The door to Santa's Candy Kitchen opens up to reveal a real piece of cellophane-wrapped Charms candy held by an elf. The waxy coating has dissolved some and stained the remaining pages of the book, though the first two-thirds are fine. It's rare to find the candy still present in this book, though the stain is almost always there. The foil "Good Child" badge is also present and intact - another item usually missing from this particular book. The back of the book has a pack of crayons attached, intact and unused, as well as a bound-in 6-page coloring book.
Other than the candy stain, the book is in very good condition with no tears or writing. The box has split corners and some storage wear to the edges (see first photo, right side).
