This 3-1/2 inch figural rosebud shape light bulb was made in the 1930s and still works, although the blue and pink paint is worn. It has a one-inch standard size or Edison style base, just like modern light bulbs. It lights up brightly and would look great in an Art Nouveau style table lamp, wall sconce, or antique light fixture. Though they were not made as Christmas lights, one of these bulbs is shown in Robert Brenner's Christmas Revisited book in the Christmas figural light bulbs section. Marked 15-25 W Japan.
