Decorative brass items from India were so collectible in the 1960s and 1970s - everyone I knew had some pieces in their home or apartment. This is a small lot of brass items from that era, all made in India.
The dinner bell type gong hangs in an ornate pedestal open frame, 7-3/4" high by 5-3/4" wide. There are two hooks mounted below the hanging disk for a striker or mallet, which is not present. Nicely etched with an all-over brite-cut type decoration of flowers and leaves.
The heavy low bowl measures 5 inches diameter by about 1-3/4" high. The outside is nice and shiny with leaf pattern etching, the interior has patina and needs polishing.
The trivet is 5 inches diameter. The center is an open Asian style geometric motif, the outer edge is etched with leaf motifs.
All three items are engraved India with series of numbers on the bottoms or backs and all are in very good vintage condition with only light polishing or cleaning needed if desired.
