This Kenmore model 3076464 chrome and black Bakelite waffle iron is from the late 1930s. It makes small twin waffles and has individually controlled heating elements, allowing you to cook two waffles at different light or dark levels at once.
The waffle grids are only 4-1/2 by 5 inches, almost miniature. Both elements heat up fine, and both glass jewel "eye" indicators glow read once the grids are heated to the selected temperature. The double cord unit is in excellent condition with no damage or wear. The chrome is shiny with no corrosion or pitting. The waffle maker could use a little more detail cleaning than what I gave it, otherwise it's a great old kitchen appliance that beats the pants off modern Chinese semi-disposable imports. About 15 inches wide across the handles by 7-3/4" deep front to back by 4 inches high.
