This attractive footed bowl or dish was part of the Ikora line by WMF, in production from the 1920s to 1960s. It measures 8 inches diameter and stands about 1-1/2 inches high on four ball feet. The gently ruffled rim is reticulated with incised scroll work. The center is a hexagonal shape with concave sides finished in a pearly marbled ivory enamel. The pinkish color appears to be some type of tarnish or oxidation effect to the protective finish - it can easily be removed with silver polish but I left it alone. The underside is marked with a castle or clock tower logo and WMF Ikora Germany Silverplate. There's also a foil label reading Tarnish Resistant WMF Ikora and the stock number 6401. In excellent condition but does need polishing.
