An assortment of six empty boxes for storage of your vintage glass Christmas ornaments. The 1940s classic Shiny Brite box is for their large size ornaments up to 3-3/4 inches diameter - I believe this was their largest size box. Three of the short dividers have been removed inside to accommodate extra large ornaments up to 6-1/2 inches long. The bottom is intact, the lid is in poor condition with taped and missing side flaps. Exterior measurements 14-3/4 by 11-1/4 by 3-3/8 inches deep.
Next is a manila box that originally held six jumbo Fantasia Poland ornaments up to 4-1/2" diameter. Exterior is 14 by 9-3/4 by 4-1/4 inches deep. Box has minor staining and a price written at one end. Lid has split corners, otherwise intact.
The other manila box originally held wire-wrapped German blown balloon type ornaments but is suitable for teardrops, icicles, and other longer ornaments. It has six compartments at least 3-1/4 by 6 inches. It measures 11 by 10 by 2-3/4" deep. This box is in very good condition with no tears or splits.
The printed gift box is decorated on both sides with old fashioned Santas, cats, drums, pine cones, and holly. It looks fairly old and can be used to hold tinsel, flat decorations or tree toppers, etc. Measurements 11-1/2 by 8-1/2 by 1-1/2 inches. No tears or stains.
The last two manila boxes originally held Czech beaded ornaments up to 3-1/2" diameter. Only one has the original 8-section divider insert. Exteriors measure 14-1/4 by 7-1/4 by 7/8" deep. Some soiling to one lid, tape marks, and a tear to the center of one lid flap.
