This General Electric Hotpoint sleek round waffle maker is the model 129Y183, made in the late 1930s. It's shiny chrome with butterscotch Bakelite side and lifter handles. It has a glass jewel eye that lights up red and a convenient tray base that will catch any batter drips.
The waffle iron is about 4 inches high, 13 or so inches wide across the handles, and 7-1/2" diameter across the top. It heats up fine and is in clean condition, though it could use a little more detail cleaning in the seams and to the grids. The chrome is shiny with no abrasions or pitting, though there are some typical minor use scuffs and cleaning marks to the top of the lid. The cord fits well but is probably not original - I think it would have had a cloth cord.
