An eclectic assortment of vintage painted wood Christmas ornaments from Taiwan, Japan, and Germany. The carved Santa on sled is different than the others and rare. It was made in Germany more than 100 years ago (marked on the bottom) and is an antique toy. Inside the sled are a tiny burlap bag type item and a spun cotton toy bag. There is age wear as shown. 2-3/8" long by 1-1/2 inches high.
Six ornaments are still sealed in their original packages: 2 Nativity scenes, 2 different toy soldiers, Santa Claus, and a drum (actually the drum doesn't appear to be wood). All were made in Taiwan in the early to mid 1970s.
Next are two working nutcracker ornaments, the chimney sweep with ladder is missing an arm. Also a nice horse on wheels. These are 2-3/4 to 3 inches high.
The cello player, grandfather clock, and angel ornament are all from 1960s Japan. They are 2-1/4 to 3-1/4" high. The angel is missing one wing.
In the next to last picture are seven smaller ornaments, all 2 inches high or less: snowman, bird, train engine, pig on snowmobile, flocked bear on sled, Santa and tree with light post, angel on rocking horse.
The last two items are unlit red and green wax Christmas tree candles on wood stands or bases, 3-1/2 inches high. Any damage other than normal light age wear is noted above, otherwise everything is in good vintage condition.
