This circa 1930 silvered glass Christmas ornament from Germany is described in one of my antique ornament books as "Snow Angel With Basket of Flowers" but she doesn't have any wings that I can see. The book pictures the 1970s reproduction valued at $125 - $175, but this one is the original old version. She wears a gold hood or scarf with matching gold coat trim.

The paper-thin glass ornament is quite small at just under 2-1/2 inches high. The inner mercury silvering has deteriorated with age, creating a semi-transparent effect to the glass above the eyebrows. There is still silvering below the forehead, though the pearly-white coat was probably once silver. There are no chips or breaks.
