This antique woolly sheep figure from early 1900s Germany is often used in Christmas putz village scenes, though it was also marketed as a child's farm toy. It's just 1-3/4 inches high by 2-1/4 inches long, with a real wool covered clay or composition body and painted wooden stick legs. The sheep still has his lacquered paper ribbon collar. He is quite clean considering his age. The face and legs are intact with no splits or chips. The wool has normal age discoloration.
