This creamy white pottery dove figurine was made by Cemar Clay Products, a California pottery firm started by two former employees of Bauer. Known for their Art Deco style figures and animals, Cemar operated from 1935 to the about 1955, and sold their molds to Bauer when they closed down.
The bird figure is 5-3/4 inches high at the tail feathers by about 7-1/2 inches wide. The off-white glaze has a satin matte finish. It's marked in-mold Cemar 549 on the base. There's one small glaze nick to the back wing feather (reflected in price), otherwise excellent condition.
