Seven antique German clip-on holders for Christmas tree candles in a partial box of wax spiral candles. There are seven unlit 3-3/4" orange-pink, yellow, and brown candles. The antique candle box is from Socony, Standard Oil Co. of New York. It's green with red lettering and a nice litho scene of a snowy church at night bordered in holly. The box has a split corner flap and quite a bit of age wear but is intact.
The seven tin clip candle holders are in a leafy arrowhead or pine cone shape with three vertical lines and a circle medallion running down the centers, about 1-5/8 inches long. Each has four crown-topped tin spikes to hold the candles. They aren't marked but are from late 1800s Germany. The spring clips work fine. There is paint wear as shown but no rust.
