A pair of large blown glass Christmas ornaments with painted angels, made in Italy in the mid to late 1960s. They're 3-1/2 inches diameter by about 4-1/2 inches high, painted satin finish gold. The angels are retro style, one in a pink gown with a bouquet of pinwheel star flowers, the other also wearing a pink dress, her hair in ringlets, playing a ukulele.
The ornaments are in very good condition with no damage. Each has a little inner silvering wear near the necks, nothing else. The artwork is signed at the lower right of each design - it looks like the initials UE. The metal caps are marked Made Italy.
