This vintage wooden silverware box has two lined sections to store your flatware, one in the main compartment under the hinged lid and the other in a pull-out drawer below. The box is probably stained walnut or maple, quite heavy. The lining fabric is burgundy or maroon red colored velvet. It holds service for 12 plus serving pieces (knives have slots in the lid) with 9 divided sections in the top drawer, seven in the lower drawer.
The box has a few scuffs and light scratches, the most prominent a couple of nicks to the top left edge. The inside is in excellent condition with no stains, tears, or damage. There are no labels or manufacturer markings. About 15 by 11-1/2 inches by 5-1/2 inches high.
