There are five early 1920s never worn little girls' one-piece undersuits, sometimes called union suits, in this Sealpax Little Sister box. They have buttoned drop seats, stretchy back panels, and bloomer size elastic legs. The under suits are sleeveless and button up the front, made of white cotton in a woven gridded or checkerboard pattern with a decorative open weave neckline. Four suits have the Sealpax Age 4 woven labels, the fifth suit is a little different in style with a Nazareth size 4-5 label.
The Sealpax undersuits have their original waxed paper envelope wrappers, the Nazareth suit doesn't have a wrapper. None of the five have ever been worn or laundered but there are typical age yellowing marks near the folds. The two suits that were at the top and bottom of the box have some rust colored stains as well, the worst one is shown in picture number six. The box is intact with no tears, though there is storage wear to the edges and discoloration. The suits are about 22-1/2" long from the shoulder seam to elastic leg. Width below the arms across the front is 12 inches. The Nazareth suit is a little bigger. The box is dated 1919 with an additional patent date of 1922.
