An assortment of nine silvered glass Christmas ornaments from late 1940s to early 1950s Japan, all with indented centers. Three are round, 1-1/4 to 2 inches diameter. The small one has an embossed star on the back,
Next are three teardrop shape double indents, about three inches high. Three more ornaments are a little larger, up to 4 inches high. One of these is indented on both side. The ornaments were produced shortly after World War II during the occupation of Japan, and the quality reflects that. The paint did not adhere well and the molding has imperfections, but there are no chips or breaks and the inner silvering remains intact.
