This is a 1950s Christmas shadow box display of the Three Kings or Wise Men of the Nativity, traveling on their camels toward Bethlehem. Encased in a wood stable frame, the front is clear glass, the back is hand painted glass, semi-opaque to let the light shine through. The figures and palm tree inside are hard plastic, the ground is colored mica glitter. The stable is 5-1/4" high by 6-1/4" wide by 2 inches deep. It can rest on the mantle or tabletop, or be hung on the wall from the hanger in back. Marked Hand Painted with a foil label reading Blume Exclusives Japan. There are a few minor scuffs to the wood stable, otherwise it's in very good condition.
