This antique woolly sheep figure from Germany is often used in Christmas putz village scenes, though it was also marketed as a toy. It's just 2-1/4 inches high by about the same in length, with a real wool covered clay or composition body and painted wooden stick legs. The sheep still has his red ribbon collar stamped Germany. He is quite clean considering his age. Typical age related wear for a 100 or more year old toy, nothing major.
