This set of three 1950s Japan porcelain ceramic angel or cherub style figures are so cute. Their faces are a bit androgynous, it's up to the viewer to decide if they're boys or girls. The children are about 3-3/4 inches high and do not have wings, though they look like angels in every other respect with their long white gowns trimmed with stamped gold flowers. One has a tuba strapped to his or her back, the other two have big drums slung over their shoulders.
They are marked Japan in red ink on the bottoms. One has the remains of an F.W. Woolworth Co. price tag on the lower side back of her gown. The angels are clean and have no damage or crazing. Ideal for display at Christmas time or year round.
