This 3-3/4" Inge-Glas West Germany figural Christmas ornament is known as Miss Liberty. She comes mint in her original box with the original makers certificate numbered 7131 and dated January 1983. The ornament was mouth blown and hand painted from the original antique German mold.
The certificate describes the ornament as "Angel Holding A Scroll". The Miss Liberty name comes from the John Lightner book Christmas Rarities, where the original 1920s German ornament is shown as Miss Liberty (book value $250 to $300).
The ornament is in perfect, mint condition as is the box and paperwork.
