This super retro early 1950s serving platter is in the Tropical pattern by Continental Kilns, an Ohio River Valley pottery that manufactured dinnerware from 1944 to the mid 1950s. It measures 11-1/2 by 10 inches and has squarish rectangular shape with notched rounded corners. Hand painted dark green and light brown leafy ferns are hand painted onto chartreuse green background. There is some very mild, faint crazing visible only on close inspection, otherwise excellent condition with no damage. See the matching dinner plates I have listed in this pattern.
