This adorable Christmas elf was part of a series of ceramic holiday Santa's helper figurines produced by Napco in the 1950s. The elf is about to slide down a brick chimney with a holly trimmed toy sack. She wears a red and white dress with matching cap trimmed in spaghetti fur and has green mittens and boot trimmed with a spaghetti pompom. The figure has some crazing but no damage. The paint is intact, all white spots in the photos are from glare and reflections. Original Napco Japan foil label is intact on the bottom along with the stock number X981E.
